The Simulation Learning Centre offers simulated-based education and learning in collaboration with the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School of the University of Sydney. It is located on the grounds of the Sydney Adventist Hospital and within the Clinical Education Centre.
The Centre aims to improve patient outcomes, enhance clinical education and learning, and promote research through excellence in multidisciplinary simulation. This is achieved by providing a state-of-the-art simulation environment for learning, teaching and research for students, clinicians, academics and the broader health community.
The Centre offers a wide and varied range of training opportunities. These services include:
- simulation-based training for medical and nursing students
- specifically designed education programs and health-professional skills courses, and
- medical and clinical conferences and educational seminars
